so yesterday mom and dad decided to spontaneously paint the computer room. the only bad part about that was not being able to use this computer for a day and a half. some good news tho, they hooked up my video editing tv with cable. so now unless i have to eat or pee theres no reason to leave this room.
today was a good day. mom hid easter eggs for me and april, which was totally fun. and we got easter baskets too. then me and april went shopping. first we got totally mad when we found out walmart was closed. so we went to kmart in search of this thing dad needed, and i used my tiny universal remote to mess with the tvs. i got like 6 or 7 of them on a static channel and turned the volume all the way up. we left the area before anyone really noticed, but then people were getting called to the electronics dept on the intercom. so im assuming that was my fault.
so ive had like 3 days off this week. its been nice. anyone wanna go to work for me tomorrow?

FL part II

so i just typed out a whole entry about florida, but then lost it. now im pissed. ill type it again later if i feel like it.

ok ill do it again but its gonna be very brief.
so it took us 2 days to get to amandas aunts house. we slept there and woke up to go to her cousins birthday party where we painted ceramics, and i made the best coffee cup ever. then we went to amandas grandparents house. they have a kickass talking bird. we visited school, which kicked ass once again, then drove around where the apartments were. the rest of the time we were down there we just hung out, shopped, went to the movies, and mini golfed. then me and amanda drove back here. we stopped in georgia for the night and stayed with bethany and paige. we watched idol with a bunch of their friends and stuff. then we drove 10 straight hours back here. the whole time i never got adaquate sleep and didnt eat food with much nutritional value, so i was exhausted. but it was a totally awesome trip.

just so you know, the Grease DVD is gonna be fabulous. not only will it have the show, itll have a picture slideshow. so ill whip it together as soon as i recieve mrs klopsics pictures. itll be worth your wait. heres an example of how i did with the video, but keep in mind that youtube messes with quality. the real thing is like a million times better in quality.

also, if anyone wants more scenes on youtube to put on your page or whatever, ill do it by request only. just ask.

well after going to Grease all 3 nights, i am completely tired of it. but i have good news. dad admitted to me that my video was better than his! great success. so ill make copies and it should be for sale soon. so heres what i thought of the play. as far as high school plays go, it was pretty damn good. best Hall play ive seen at least. it had choreography, casting was perfect, and the chorus actually got to do more stuff. some of the singers sure did suck, i wont give names. the audience made me laugh. i mean i heard people saying that my sister was the best singer they have ever heard. and its true that april and brittany were a level above the rest, but seriously. my town needs to get out more. go see Wicked then talk to me again. so some of my family came out to see it, which was great. wish they could stay longer but oh well. it was a nice weekend. today it was nice out so i took gizmo to bakers lake. he had a good time and got to sniff a lot of new people.

i go back to florida soon. i cant wait! its gonna be awesome. i get to go see the school again, and i get to visit some friends. road trips are fabulous.

so the high school play starts tomorrow, and we have been hired to videotape it and sell dvds. we have been given permission to film in the balcony, which is fabulous. the original plan was for dad to record it, but after seeing what he did at the dress rehearsal im convinced i can do better. i was trying to give pointers but he wont listen to me. which is rediculous because i use that camera way more often then he does. of course im gonna know what im talking about! so now we are in competition. im gonna record one night, and hes gonna record one night. and the best version is the version that will be sold. just wait. ill show him.

so i roadtrip to florida and back soon. the 22nd. thats the other interesting thing i have to mention. oh, and heres my RENT autographs.

so me and amanda drove to springfield to go to RENT today. just another one of my random adventures. so we got there just fine, even tho mapquest sucks. we were hours early so we stopped at this cute little pizza place and ate. so we got to the theatre, still early, and on the way i spotted the stage door. so i was excited because i basically promised myself that i was gonna meet the cast. we went inside and saw the merchandise table getting set up. i got in line cause i wanted a program. i was standing there making small talk with people. and this would be a good time to quote my entry from the last time i saw RENT in peoria.

"a very friendly hippy sat next to me. he had ripped jeans, sandals, long hair and beard, a man-purse made of hemp, and a Rent tshirt."

well guess who stepped in line behind me. non other than the hippy guy. wearing the same shirt and everything. i about started laughing right there but controlled myself. he didnt reconize me, but complemented my tshirt and my Mark Scarf. (which ill take a picture of eventually.) so we chatted for a bit, then i bought my stuff and me and amanda sat outside for a bit cause it was so nice out today. it was getting close to showtime, so we went and found our seats. they were good ide say. up in the mezzanine but good. the audience sure was good. cheered every time a character came out, and everybody "mooed" lol. the show itself was better than last time too. im pretty sure there were understudies last time. this time there was a new, and better mimi. and it was a different collins too. im just happy harley jay was playing mark that night cause i friggin love him. so after the show i ran for the stage door and was one of the first to get there. so i waited with the other people, and we almost started freaking out cause none of us had sharpies. so the first people to come out were chante (joanne) and tracy (maureen). both of them were very nice and courteous. we didnt even have to ask for autographs, they asked US if we wanted them. chante even came back to me once to make sure she got to me. then harley (mark) came out and he was pretty nice too. he went right up to me and complemented my scarf. i also got autographs from aswad (benny) and declan (roger). but they seemed a bit more eager to get back on the bus. i somehow missed the rest of them. and i dont have pictures cause i didnt have a camera. i wasnt expecting to meet them. hippie guy was at the stage door too, so i said goodbye to him and we went back to the car. we pretty much made it back alright. but then got lost in the illinois valley. wtf. but we made it, and it was great. ill scan my autographs later.

well i suppose i owe an entry about florida. in short, it was amazing. i cant wait to go to this school! the tour of the place was like a tour of universal studios. seriously. my classrooms are literally movie sets. they even have their own back-lot! which is gorgeous btw. im gonna learn everything i could possibly need to learn, and its basically gonna kick all kinds of ass. so after the tour we hung out at City Walk which is outside universal. then we flew back home. but i get to go back down there near the end of the month. and then me and amanda are road tripping back home. ill get to visit some of my friends on the way too, which im excited about. cause seriously, once im in school who knows when ill see them again. but yeah, the future looks awesome. i should take some pictures of the place to post here. it really is amazing.

In honor of the recent Nascar misunderstanding, or as i'm going to called it "Diana's PR management snafoo #124", I have decided to create a timeline of Diana's future. Since it is obvious that Diana will never in her entire life have good people working for her, and that she will never blog unless begged to, my guess is as good as anyone elses. These are the events that will happen starting today, in chronological order.

-Diana ducks out of singing at the Nascar race because she is in the studio recording songs for her 3rd album. Yes, 3rd. Today she is collaborating with Whitney Houston and Celine Dion. Tomorrow shes in the studio with Christina Auguilera and Mariah Carey. Together they will create the most successful album ever made called "Super Belting Melisma Diva Fest 2007."

-Diana's 2nd album is finally released after thousands of copies of it are found in Michael Mauldin's basement.

-Diana goes on tour for the 2nd album, but no one shows up because they didn't know about it.

-Diana decides to try her luck on broadway again. She plays the lead in Wicked. After one performance, (which happens to be the best performance in the history of broadway), she trips over her broomstick and sprains her shin. No other information is known because the people who went won't write reviews or share their media.

-"Super Belting Melisma Diva Fest 2007" goes quadrupal platinum. Diana accepts a Grammy in a wheelchair because her shin is'nt healed yet. The songs on the album that Diana wrote herself are named "The Best Written Songs in History" by numerous music magazines. (No DreamTeamers own or have heard of this album.)

-While filming the 4th season of her sitcom, Diana recieves a petition signed by DreamTeamers that demands to release her 2nd album. Dumbfounded, Diana calls up Michael Mauldin. Mauldin then pretends there is a bad connection by making static noises with his mouth and hangs up. Diana then ponders why we never come to her shows anymore.

-Diana writes a pulitzer prize winning book about her life up to this point. We find it ourselves because we were of course not told about it, then we are left to wonder how she found the time to write a book when she can't even blog every now and then.

-While filming the movie based on her book, Diana recieves another petition from the DreamTeam. She goes to Michael Mauldin's house demanding an explanation. He then captures her and chryogenetically freezes her in a tube. Her body is placed in his basement next to Da Brat, and other Mauldin Brand Clients. In the meantime, we're still hanging out on www.dianad.com posting things like, "So, Diana's still in Hairspray right?"

i had quite the day yesterday. i couldnt sleep the night before for some reason. i got 2 hours tops. i got up, drank a huge cup of coffee, then got to work and had 2 energy drinks. for the rest of the day i had developed superhuman qualities. i worked 8 hours with only 1 break, lifted a few 50 pound salt blocks to someones car, scanned and bagged at record speed, and brought in all the carts. then i came home and built a snow sculpture. after that i came inside and slept for about 14 hours. too bad it takes caffiene and other chemicals to make myself act productive. i could do that every day but it would probably take like 10 years off my life expectancy.

did anyone else see the polar bear snow sculptures in the paper? the ones as big as the dudes porch? i feel defeated :-(

*squee* i cant believe shes done with broadway now though. shes started hairspray a whole year ago so now its like, weird.

nothing interesting happening in the near future. all i do is work. then i come home and dont feel like doing much else, so i havent really accomplished anything other than work for like monthes. well i suppose ive been doing a lot of work on the yarnball, but thats basically it. next interesting thing on the agenda is going to florida next month to visit my future college. good times. i should really go to bed. they have me working at 10 tomorrow. see they know that i have no life, so all the fulltime people know they can get me to take their shift. i know i need the money so i shouldnt complain, but i dont like when people other than me acknowledge that i have no life. well fine im going to bed now, so i can cover for this girl who knows i have no life.

tuesday i went to see Wicked for the 3rd time. i brought april and amanda with me. it was fun and disasterous at the same time. it started off as disasterous. i had some errands to run before we left so i went outside to find like 5 inches of unplowed snow. great. so i go to all the trouble of dusting off my car, get inside of it, and learn that the battery is dead. fabulous. i had to get to the bank and the post office so i went and dusted off the truck. i then learned that the truck is the worst vehical ive ever driven on snow ever. it was a battle to get out of the driveway at all. even more of a battle to go uphill to the bank. then i couldnt even go there cause i couldnt get into their parking lot without getting stuck. so i went to visit mom at work. i walked in, totally soaked at this point, and complained about the car situation. she gave me the van and i got all my shit done. then april got home so we picked up amanda and set out for chicago. we thought we were leaving plenty early but due to the snow related accidents, traffic was majorly slow. we entertaining ourselves by counting the cars in the ditch (26) and by making faces at truckers. i practically befriended one of them and he kept smiling at me. we decided that he was the love of my life, and i miss him dearly. so we got to the train-stop and got on. i was all mad at this point cause i knew we were gonna be late. then things got worse when we found out that the stop mom and dad said to get off at was a little farther away from the theatre than expected. so we got there, thanks to my great sense of direction, but it was a cold damp walk. so we get there, late of course, and i stop whining to myself long enough to watch the play. it was good as usual. all the new cast members are great. im just bummed april and amanda missed the beginning. so afterwards we went and got some food. then we got back on the train, at the correct stop. we got back to the car to find that we were out of wiper fluid, so we went and got some. we got home around 2. although the day was full of disaster, i love random adventures. so it was great.

if you havent heard, something absolutely hilarious happened yesterday in boston. and since then, it has only gotten funnier. some people got freaked out and called the cops after they came across a glowing object which was rumored to be a bomb. the LED lights formed the outline of 2 characters from one of my favorite shows, aqua teen hunger force. because of the so called "bombs" half of boston was shut down. highways, waterways, and subways were shut down, hospitals were evacuated, basically all hell broke loose. the light up characters were places in 10 major cities as advertisements, and have been around for weeks. but only boston was stupid enough to feel threatened by them.

im writing this because all of the fans on www.adultswim.com are mad that the fans arent getting any say in the situation. all the people involved in this have been people that arent even aware of the show. this thing im writing will be posted on the forums along with everyone elses blogs, to show how rediculous this whole thing is, to educate the people who arent aware of the show, and in an effort to free the 2 men who have been arrested for placing the devices.

well i did something fun last night. i got a tattoo! ive been wanting one for awhile now. i got it at permanent images in ottawa and april and amanda went with me. it was fun. didnt hurt as much as i expected

now go ahead and laugh at how white i am haha. that was taken last night. it still looks good but i can tell its starting to scab already. hope it doesnt do that for long.

seriously guys, if you havent checked out www.votefortheworst.com do it. its more entertaining than american idol itself. especially tonights premiere. YAWN! i mean cmon. the first 20 minutes of the show spent filming a girl crying? the only time i was truly entertained is when that girl admitted to being a crack baby, the "other door" bit, and the lion girl who is now my hero. as soon as she shows up on youtube ill post it. someone did find her myspace though. haha. i think tomorrows episode will be more entertaining, but by the looks of the people they previewed, we will all go to hell after laughing at them.

well my internet fame hasnt exactly died down. my myspace is still being bombarded, and through my myspace they have found me on youtube and such. i wouldnt be surprized if people even made it here. aside from a few creepy people, its all been good. some dude on myspace wants to collaborate in a new video, which i will be working on tomorrow, and get this. ebaumsworld is paying me 100 dollars for the use of my video. see heres how ebaums works. they are a big evil corperation who screws people over on a regular basis. most of their content is even stolen without permission of its creator. on the front page it says they offer 200 dollars if you submit a video and they use it. but if you read the contract you agree to when submitting, it says that they can exploit you any way they want, with no pay. so what you gotta do is email their legal department and bust them on the false advertisement, and they give you 100 dollars to shut up. by even submitting to ebaums in the first place, i am officially a sell-out, and im damn proud. im even rewarding myself by using the money to see Wicked again, since they have a new girl in the lead and all. good times will be had. so now i have to start learning the words to the song were using in the collaboration video. so off i go.
